NetJets Inc. sponsors and funds 8 Scholarships directed to Flight Education and to Aviation Management. The Scholarships are open to Junior and Senior Level Aviation Majors. NetJets Inc. is commited to encourage and assist highly qualified and motivated Aviation Students to complete their Aviation Education and to enter the Aviation Profession. For the 2009/2010 Academic year, the Application Window is from Monday February 2 to Friday, April 3. National Gay Pilots Association Education Fund
Award amounts between $3500.00 and $5000.00. Applicants must be enrolled in a Professional Pilot curriculum. Funds are to be used for tuition and advanced ratings beyond Private Pilot. Wisconsin Airport Management Association
The Wisconsin Airport Management Association offers two Scholarship opportunities to Students currently enrolled in an Aviation Degree curriculum in Wisconsin or are a resident of Wisconsin attending a College of University out of state. Hillsdale Aviation Award
The Hillsdale Aviation Award is given to qualifying OSU students seeking advanced pilot certificates or ratings in preparation for a career as a professional pilot. To apply, the applicant must be enrolled as an undergraduate student at The Ohio State University main campus, currently hold a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0, and hold at least a Private Pilot ASEL certificate. This year there are three $3000.00 awards. They may be applied towards the Academic Flight Laboratory course fee(s) of the recipient's choice. The deadline for applications is April 17, 2009.
