In addition to university degree programs, there are several other opportunities and services available to the general public.
Non-Degree Flight Training
The Ohio State University Airport offers a flight training program called the Flight Training Clinic (FTC). This program is designed to allow OSU students, who do not want to take aviation classes for course credit, the opportunity to earn their pilot certificate. The program can also accommodate OSU faculty and staff, as well as those not affiliated with the University. The Flight Education staff can provide training for all levels of certification from private pilot to ATP, as well as provide re-currency training for those already certificated.
Computer Assisted Testing Service (CATS)
The Ohio State University Airport’s Flight Education Division hosts the only CATS site in Central Ohio. CATS is the recognized leader in educational, licensing, and certification testing.
Cirrus Standardized Training Center
As the only Cirrus Standardized Training Center in Central Ohio, The Ohio State University Airport is able to serve your Cirrus Primary, Instrument, or Transition Training needs in your own aircraft or in Flight Education’s new Cirrus SR-20 G3.
