#OSUAviation Commitment to Change

Dear Colleagues in #OSUAviation:

This morning, our College of Engineering Dean, Dr. David Williams, announced some of the first steps the College is taking to create meaningful change to improve the issues of systemic racism and injustice.  We must also commit, as individuals and as the #OSUAviation community to the listening, learning, and change implementations now required.

Attached, I please find a letter that serves as one outward sign of that inward commitment, and a 'first step' in a long journey for all.   Please feel free to circulate, re-post, publish, or otherwise distribute widely.  It is not perfect.  But it is our first step in the right direction.

I look forward to working with you and all stakeholders in #OSUAviation, to bring about a more just, equitable,  and opportunity-rich environment  for all.
