Welcome

Welcome to the Center for Aviation Studies

The aviation programs span three colleges at the university. Here are the three majors in aviation:

  1. College of Engineering – Bachelor of Science in Aviation
  2. College of Arts & Sciences – Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences: Air Transportation
  3. Fisher College of Business – Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Aviation Management

The Center for Aviation Studies also offers the minor in aviation for students at the university. All aviation programs with the university have received accreditation from Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI). Each semester 300+ students participate in labs or coursework at the university airport, utilizing its fleet of 20 aircraft, flight simulators, air traffic control tower, weather station and communications and navigation systems. Through the Center of Aviation Studies, students have the option to attend the university's Flight Education program that is housed at the university’s airport.
