Hypoxia chamber & Disorientation simulator

The FAA is bringing their Portable Reduced Oxygen Training Enclosure (PROTE) & Disorientation Simulator to the OSU Airport on September 5, 6, 7.  This event will allow any pilot with a minimum of a 3rd Class Medical Certificate and 18 years of age the opportunity to participate in the hypoxia recognition training.  It is highly encouraged for all pilots to take advantage of this opportunity.

Small groups of people will rotate through the chamber in 2-hour block segments over the three days, and registration is required.  The hypoxia chamber is space limited and is open to all pilots in the area, not just Ohio State students, so please visit the following website to sign up as soon as possible to register.
