The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals at Ohio State University is a student organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of all men and women in aviation careers with the purpose of increasing the participation of men and women of color. The group strives to expose all participants to the many different facets of the aviation industry through tours, meetings, and community involvement. We would like to expose all people to the wonderful field of aviation and welcome all that are interested.

The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals is a national organization that celebrated it's 40 year anniversary in 2016. The organization is made up of pilots, flight attendants, air traffic controllers, maintenance personnel, airline administrators, and much more. An annual Spring and Summer conference is held each year along with Ace Academies for youth all across the country. The organization also gave out over $125,000 in scholarships this past year to 24 recipients. The Ohio State Student Chapter attends the Summer convention annually and aims to volunteer at the local Columbus Ace Academy to inspire the next generation of aviators.
